SERVICES FOR FRED H. LARSEN WERE SATURDAY

Services for Fred H. Larsen, of Arlington, were held Saturday, December 16th at the Arlington Community Church. Mr. Larsen apparently died of a heart attack at his farm home while he was attempting to change tires on his dump truck. He was home alone at the time and was found by his wife and Bill Rhea when they arrived at the farm late in the afternoon.

Mr. Larsen was 65 at the time of his death on Tuesday, December 12. He was born on May 10, 1907, at Aletha, Kansas. He was married to Irene Rhea on July 2, 1932. He is survived by his widow, 2 daughters and one son. The daughters are Mrs. Robert (Mardelle) Marr of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Mrs. Wayne (Marcella) Schmeling of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The son is Rhea Larsen of Omaha.

There is also one surviving sister and a brother. They are Mrs. Lee (Lillian) Marshall of Crestline, California, and Albert Larsen of Sterling, Colorado. There are also eight grandchildren.

Services were at 2:00 p.m. at the Arlington Community Church with Rev. Bryce A. Hecht officiating and Reckmeyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Clarence Kassebaum, J.O. Marshall, Clare Nonnamaker, Gilbert Scheer, Allan Sorensen and William Rhea.
