RITES FOR MRS. JENS P. LARSEN

COUNTY RESIDENT, 65, HAD LIVED IN KENNARD FOR THE PAST 21 YEARS.

Mrs. Jens Peter Larsen, 65, Kennard resident for 21 years, died Tuesday night at Dodge County Community Hospital, Fremont.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lawson Funeral Home in Fremont, the Rev. P.L. Thorslev of Kennard’s Emmaus Lutheran Church officiating. The burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.

Native of Denmark, Mrs. Larsen was born Mar. 2, 1883, and came to the United States when ten years old. She lived in Fremont from 1903 until 1927, when she moved to Kennard. She and Mr. Larsen were married Jan. 30, 1907, at Council Bluffs, Ia.

In Kennard, Mrs. Larsen was a member of the Danish Sisterhood and Ladies Aid, being affiliated with Emmaus Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, J.P. Larsen of Kennard; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Knutson of Arlington; two sons, Paul and James Larsen, both of Omaha, a sister, Mrs. George Stanford of Primrose, and eight grandchildren. One son, Elmer Larsen, preceded her in death.
