JOHANNE K. LARSEN, 96

Johanne Larsen, 96, of Omaha, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at the Florence Home in Omaha.

Services were Tuesday, Feb. 23, at First Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Johanne K. Larsen was born Feb. 12, 1903, to Knud and Ellen (Jorgensen) Kristensen in Starmose Aero, Denmark.

She attended school in Denmark and married Jens P. Larsen in Copenhagen, Denmark on Feb. 27, 1938.

In 1938, the couple came to the United States and farmed in the Herman area until moving to Blair in 1963.

Her husband died in 1966.

From 1992 to 1997, she lived with her daughter, Ellen.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Albert Jones of Omaha; Lillie and William Kalin of Fort Calhoun; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jens; her son, Knud P. Larsen; two granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
