LOUIS LARSEN DEAD, AGE 67

ONETIME FARMER DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS; FUNERAL TO BE FRIDAY

Louis Larsen, 67, lifetime resident of Washington and Burt Counties, died early Tuesday at Park Avenue Rest Home in Omaha. The Blair man, ill since suffering a stroke four years ago, had been bedfast the past 10 months.

The body was brought to the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair. Rites will be held there tomorrow (Friday) at 2 p.m., the Rev. H.C. Jorgensen of First Lutheran Church officiating. Interment is to be in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Larsen was born in Washington County Sept. 3, 1886, and was a farmer most of his life. He and Ora Edith Loftis were married Febr. 7, 1912. They quit farming in 1929 and moved into Blair, where Mrs. Larsen died Oct. 10, 1949.

Surviving Mr. Larsen are two daughters, Mrs. Orville Axtelle (Irene) of Blair and Mrs. Ivan Honeycutt (Olive) of Valley; two brothers, George Larsen of Blair and Arthur Beal of Davis, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Annena L. Wilson of Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Freda Mathiesen of Brooks, Alberta, Canada. Also surviving are six grandchildren, five nephews and a niece.
