DONNA L. LARSEN-ROSS, 57

Services for Donna L. Larsen-Ross, 57, who died May 24, 1993 at her home in Vancouver, Washington after a battle with cancer were Saturday, May 29 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard, Nebraska. Rev. Stephen Cooney officiated. Burial was in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery at Brainard.

Donna L. Larsen-Ross was born September 13, 1935 near Brainard to Louis and Tonie Busek Pelan. She lived with her family on a farm near Brainard and attended Butler County District 48, graduating from Brainard High School in 1954. She attended business college in Omaha.

While living in Omaha, she was employed at Mutual of Omaha, Graybar Electric Company and Chevrolet Motor Division, a division of General Motors Corporation.

From 1973-1985, she lived in Blair, Nebraska where she was employed by Simon Korshoj and Harold Wright.

In 1985, she moved to Vancouver, Washington and was employed at the Portland Air National Guard Base.

She and Frank L. Ross were married December 15, 1989.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Clarice Pelan on January 1, 1993.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; step-daughters, Cheryl (Mrs. Walter) Perry and Gale (Mrs. David) Donachie; five step-grandchildren, all of Vancouver; one sister, Phyllis Pabian of Schuyler, Nebraska; three brothers, Gary L. Pelan of Columbus, Nebraska, Michael Pelan of Houston, Texas and Lynn Pelan of Oakland, Nebraska; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Palmquist-Pelan Funeral Home in Oakland was in charge of arrangements.
