EDGAR LARSEN DIES AT THE AGE OF 81

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 21st at the United Methodist Church in Herman for Edgar B. Larsen, 81. The Rev. William Whittaker officiated.

Mr. Larsen was born August 25, 1896 at the Admah vicinity west of Herman, Nebr. He was married to Elna Knutsen and they farmed all of their life west of Herman at Admah and later in the New England vicinity and also served on the school board at the Bell Center School.

Mr. Larsen passed away at the Tekamah Senior Citizens Home on Sunday, September 18th.

The deceased was preceded in death by his wife Elna and one brother, Lawrence.

Mr. Larsen is survived by a son, Howard E. Larsen of Herman and by two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Ferguson of Omaha and Mrs. Andrew Hansen (Ruby) of Blair. There are seven grandsons and one granddaughter. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Rose Petersen of Winslow, Nebr., Mrs. Olga Montaque of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Bill Gibson (Ida) of Torrington, Wyo., and Inger Charters of Ogallala, Nebraska.

Pallbearers were: Victor Petersen, Ralph Novak, Riley Brodersen, Frank Korshoj, Arnold Petersen, Lester Curley.

Interment was in the Herman Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.
