Hazel E. Gregerson, 93

Hazel E. Gregerson, 93, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at her home in Blair.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 27, at the Herman Community Church. Interment was in the Herman Cemetery.

Hazel E. Gregerson was born Sept. 5, 1913, in rural Washington, Neb., to George and Annie (Pate) Christensen. She attended rural school near Washington and graduated from Blair High School.

She worked in Omaha for several years prior to her marriage to John Gregerson on April 26, 1939. The couple lived and farmed north of Herman their entire lives. Mrs. Gregerson moved to Blair in 1995.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Rosalie Gregerson of Tekamah; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Daniel Denney of Omaha; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Jack Chapman of Blair; brother, Oliver “Bud” Christensen of Washington, Penn.; sister-in-law, Ruberta Christensen of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1976.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Herman Community Church or the Herman Eastern Star.
