Services for Paul Grey, age 78, of Omaha and formerly of Herman, who died April 27, 1993, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Omaha, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 30, at the Herman Baptist Church with military graveside services in the Herman Cemetery.

Paul Grey was born April 15, 1915, at Tekamah, Nebraska. He lived most of his life in the Tekamah and Herman area.

He was in the construction business for many years prior to his employment with Korshoj Lumber in the mid-1950s. He retired in 1983 and lived in Herman until moving to Omaha in 1989.

In 1952 he married Ethel Cummings at Blair.

He was a member of the Herman Fire Department and Herman American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Surviving him in death are his wife, Ethel; six children, Marilyn Long, Westerly, Rhode Island; Beverly Kubie, Norfolk, Nebraska; Tim Tucker, Odessa, Texas; Patricia Hanson, Omro, Wisconsin; Mike Tucker, Millard, Nebraska, and Steve Tucker, Blair; 12 grandchildren and one brother, Mike Grey of Omaha.
