The remains of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Griffin passed through Blair today on the way to Oakland, where the funeral will be held. Mr. Griffin was cashier of the Butler County State Bank at David City, in which Jabe Gibson, of this city, is interested. He died of influenza at 8 o’clock in the morning and she of the same disease at 9 in the evening. Their little son, 5 years old, is also very sick, but Mr. Gibson has word that he is some better this morning.
