Services For Peggy Ward April 21

Peggy Elaine Ward, daughter of Grace and Richard Barron was born on July 17, 1926 at Blair, Nebraska, and passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 1978 at the Omaha Methodist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband and her father.

She was united in marriage to Lewis Ward on August 4, 1946, and they continued to live in Kennard, Nebraska.

She is survived by three children – two daughters: Mrs. Robert (Roxie) Mues of Loomis, Nebr. and Mrs. Alan (Cheryl) Pittman of Arlington, Nebraska. One son, Charles of Kennard, Nebraska, two granddaughters and three grandsons; her mother, Grace Barron of Blair, Nebraska. Five sisters, Marie Boone of Omaha, Eleanor Worrall of Omaha, Irene Cummings of Blair, Sally Mohr of Scribner and Jeanne Anderson of Arlee, Montana. Two brothers James Barron of Denver, Colorado and Robert Barron of Bristol, Virginia. Many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 21 at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. The Rev. Wayne Josephson conducted the services.

Burial was made in the Kennard Cemetery.
