Services Tuesday For L. Greenwood In Blair

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 28, at 2 p.m. at First Methodist Church in Blair for Louis Phillip Greenwood who died October 25, 1980, in the Fremont Annex at the age of 81. Rev. Gordon Patterson will conduct the services. Burial is in the Arlington Cemetery.

Louis Phillip Greenwood was born November 12, 1898, in Salina, Kansas, to Middle Emerson and Evelyn Provost Greenwood. He married Hazel Wallingford, who survives him. He was a farmer, but lived at Parkside Apartments at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel of Blair; two daughters, Louise Metcalfe, Elk Grove Village, Illinois; and Laura Kurka, Elk Grove Village, Illinois; and one son, Ronald Greenwood of Logan, Iowa. Nine brothers and sisters, William Greenwood, Kassville, Missouri, Lester Greenwood, Omaha, Edward Greenwood, Klamath Falls, Oregon; Francis Greenwood, Buhl, Idaho, Middle Greenwood, Jr., Wichita, Kansas; Emma Higgins, Salina, Kansas, Merle Davis, Wichita, Kansas; Lucy Wood, Abilene, Kansas; and Helen Lauxman, Gypsum, Kansas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive him.

Bette Kirk is organist for the services. Homer Nielsen will provide the vocal music.

Pallbearers are Larry Wallingford, Robert Hyland, Donald Woods, Ted Wallingford, Bobby Greenwood and Harvey Mohfeld.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
