Elvin C. Grell, 80

Elvin C. Grell, 80, of Blair, died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Elvin C. Grell was born Jan. 18, 1923, in Omaha to Carl and Rose (Rapp) Jensen.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.

On Nov. 17, 1952, he married Norma Jensen in Omaha. The couple moved to Blair shortly after their marriage.

Mr. Grell worked for the State of Nebraska as a grain warehouse inspector. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing, and watching baseball on TV.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; daughter, Valerie Grell of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rick Grell of Blair, and Greg and Karen Grell of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lois Horn of Gretna, and Delores and Bill Hubbard of Omaha.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
