Funeral services were Wednesday, July 13, at the Baptist Church in Herman for Anna Green, 56, of Herman, who died July 11, 1983, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair of an apparent heart attack.

Anna Myrtle Marie Anderson Green was born January 11, 1927, at Tekamah. She was raised in the Tekamah area and attended school in Tekamah.

She was a member of the Herman Fireman’s Auxiliary.

She married George Green on December 14, 1944. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Thomas of Fremont and Michael of Herman. One granddaughter; her mother, Ruby Paxton of Diller; three sisters, Dagmar Warren of Lincoln, Pearl Koeing of Beatrice and Sandra Cranell of Diller; and five brothers, Charlie Anderson of Lincoln, Lester of Chicago, Glen of New York, David of Chicago and Danny of Kansas, also survive her.

Hamel-Peck Funeral Home of Tekamah was in charge of arrangements for the services.
