Gilbert Edward Gray will be buried in Villisca, Iowa, on Tuesday, July 18, following services at the Methodist Church in Blair at 11 a.m. Reverend Gordon Patterson will officiate at the service. Gray died July 15, 1978, at Bergan Mercy Care Center in Omaha at the age of 70.

Gilbert Edward Gray was born July 13, 1908, in Villisca, Iowa, to Emmor and Ethel Cartwright Gray. He married Dorothy Fisher. He was Assistant Chemist for the Pipe Line Company.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Blair, two sons, Fred Gray of Kennard, and Duane Gray of Blair, and two daughters, Deloris Gottsch of Salinas, California, and Karen Gray of O’Neill, Nebraska. Four grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters, William, Marvin, Victor, and Lester, all of Osceola, Francis and Robert, both of Loveland, Colorado, Rolland of Greeley, Colorado, and Mrs. Doris Kutchar, Osceola, Iowa, also survive him.

Karen Flynn will be organist for the services.

Pallbearers are Joe Sapikoski, Glen Saltzgiver, Russell Johns, Linton Puffer, J. K. Michael, and Jay Kimsey.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
