Thomas B. Gossard

Thomas Bertel Gossard was born in Illinois, April 29, 1876, and died in Blair, Nebraska, January 17, 1933, at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 18 days.

With his parents he came to Nebraska when two years old, and Washington county has been his home ever since, first in the Herman vicinity and the last five years near Blair.

He was married to Miss Lyda Williamson of Herman at Blair, Jan. 21, 1911.

As a lad of 18, he joined the Methodist Church in Herman and transferred his membership to the church in Blair on his removal here.

He leaves his wife, two sisters, Mrs. John Wheeler of Wessington Springs, South Dakota, and Mrs. Joe Lyons of Herman, and two brothers, Oliver of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Albert of Los Angeles, California.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. H. Jackson and interment in the Blair cemetery, Thursday afternoon, Jan. 19.
