Burial Service Here For Former Resident

Funeral services were held Monday morning, July 10, 1978, at the Crosby-Kunold-Burket Funeral Chapel in Omaha for Mrs. Thelma Granden, of Omaha, age 75 years. Burial was in the Herman Cemetery.

Mrs. Granden was the former Thelma Godsey of Herman. She was married to Dr. Howard W. Granden in 1929, living in Omaha, Verdigre, and in Fullerton, where Dr. Granden passed away in 1947. In 1948 she and her son, Barry moved to Pawnee City, Nebraska, where she was the Administrator of the Pawnee County Memorial Hospital for 25 years; on her retirement in 1974, she returned to Omaha to make her home.

Mrs. Granden is survived by her son, Barry H. Granden, daughter-in-law, Rita, two grandsons, Jeremiah and Jesse of Omaha, sisters, Eledyce Copeland of Shenandoah, Iowa, and Marjorie Kroger of Herman, Nebraska, two nieces, Lois Helms of Omaha and Judith Campbell of Tecumseh and one nephew, David Kroger, of Cedar Bluffs, Iowa.
