Service Held For Glenn Gottsch

Services were held Tuesday, November 28, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington for Glenn Gottsch, 71, who died November 16, 1983, at Immanuel Fontenelle Home in Omaha. Burial was in the German Cemetery at Bennington.

Glenn Gottsch was born in Washington County July 5, 1912. He lived on the family farm near Bennington.

He is survived by his wife, Voenita; a step-son Terri Stokes, Evergreen, Colorado; and a step-daughter, Cheryl Thompson, England. Five grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur, Elkhorn, Ben, Omaha, Charles, Bennington and Harlan, Arlington; and three sisters, Mabel Gottsch, Bernita Gottsch and Roma Dreshler, all of Omaha, also survive him.

Casket bearers were Jerry Roe, Lee Bunz, Londo Auch, Rolland Gottsch, dean Johns and Larry Hadan.

Memorials may be sent to St. John Lutheran Church.

Hadan-Golden Mortuary was in charge of arrangements for the services.
