Gottsch services Thursday

Funeral services for Mervyn R. Gottsch will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 20th and Davis Streets in Blair. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the Campbell Funeral Home, 444 S. 17th Street in Blair.

Burial will follow the funeral service Thursday at the Kennard Cemetery, two miles west of Kennard.

Gottsch farmed south of Kennard and was a member of the Blair Eagles Club. He is survived by his wife Charlotte, sons Steve and Blake of Kennard and Pat* of Omaha, daughter Michelle Dortch of Oceanside, California, sisters Karen Campbell of Blair and Cheryl Rice of Fremont, brother Duane and father Harlan of Arlington.

Pallbearers for Thursday’s services are Melvin Misfeldt, Glen Vogt, Merritt Klotz, Marvin Heise, Bill Wrich, and Merle Christiansen. Father Daniel Galas will preside at the services.
