MARGARET E. LARSEN, 94

Lifetime Washington County resident Margaret E. Larsen, died Tues. Jan. 17, 1989 at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Margaret Larsen was born Sept. 25, 1894 near Herman to Jens and Sorina Hansen Christensen. She married Hans C. Larsen and farmed with him in the Spiker area until his death in 1956. At that time she moved to Blair and has resided at Good Shepherd for the past five years. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Orum, NE.

She is survived by two sons, LeRoy of Blair and Chester of Herman, a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Gladys) Hooks of Tucson, Ariz. and a daughter-in-law, Elaine Larsen of Blair. Ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Ervin, and two brothers, Hans and Alfred.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20 at Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be at the Orum Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Home and Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital.
