MENNO LARSEN, VETERAN ROAD MAN, DIED SUNDAY, JULY 6

Menno Chris Larsen, a lifetime Blair resident, born here in 1905, died last Sunday, July 6th at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Menno lived at 520 North 19th Street, Blair. He was known to hundreds of local people for he had worked as a rural road maintenance man for Washington County for more than 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jane, by a daughter, Mrs. William McCann of Fremont, and by four sons. They are Robert of Milpitas, California; Harold of Redwood City, California; (from here on, the obituary article is distorted and some of it cannot be read.) John of Easie________y, South Carolina and Norman, of Blair. There are 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren surviving.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Robert Albers conducted the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bi____ly McCann, Allan Kumm, B______b Hardy, Rolland, Lloyd and Ke_____neth Hineline.
