FORMER COUNTY MAN DIED IN OMAHA HOSPITAL

Milton P. Larsen, one-time resident of the Kennard area, died October 2nd in an Omaha hospital, a victim of leukemia. Larsen, a member of the Omaha police force, was born at Kennard and grew up in that area. He was 30 years old.

He had been a member of the Omaha Police Force for nine years and had served with the juvenile unit for the past four years.

The deceased was the son of the late Earl Larsen, one-time farmer of the Kennard area.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, and by two sons, Norbert E. (Buddy) who is 9 years old, and by Milton P. Jr., who is five. Also surviving is his mother, Mrs. Ardeth Larsen who lives in Omaha.

Three brothers survive. They are Eldon of Omaha, Lynn of Elm Creek, Nebraska, and Arlen Larsen of Kennard. A sister, Mrs. Bill Wrich (Joyce) also lives at Kennard. In-laws of the deceased man are Art and Wilma Klabunde, John and Robyn Thirtle, Jack and Gerri Shelhorn. There are 25 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman, a nephew Russell Larsen and a sister-in-law Sandra.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Omaha. Interment was made in the Springwell cemetery.
