SERVICES ARE HELD MONDAY FOR RAYMOND LARSON

Funeral services for Raymond Larson were held Monday, March 17, at the First United Methodist Church in Oakland. He died the preceding Friday at the Oakland Memorial Hospital at the age of 80 years.

The Rev. Olin Belt officiated at the services. Robert Peters was soloist and Mrs. Robert Peters was organist.

Pallbearers were Dean Bruggeman, Tom Fredericksen, Vernie Larson, Gene Quist, Charles Sanders and Joyce Sanders. Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery. Palmquist Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Raymond H. Larson was born July 8, 1899, at Laurel, the son of William S. and 0lga Larson. He was married to Maude Clark at Laurel February 9, 1921. They moved to Belden to Oakland in 1933 where they were engaged in farming.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Oakland Lodge AF & AM No. 91 and OES Chapter No. 158.

Survivors include his wife Maude; two children, William L. Larson of Oakland and Mrs. J. Emery (Patricia) Nelson of Blair; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Sanders of Oakland, and Mrs. Luella Kardell of Laurel; five grandchildren, Jeff Nelson of Wymore, Mrs. Dale (Cindy) Tranmer of Fremont, Kirby Larson of Oakland, Mrs. Billy ( Prudence) Cemer of Blair and Marty Larson of Oakland; and five great-grandchildren.
