VIVIAN LARSEN, 90

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at First Christian Church for Vivian Larsen, 90 of Blair who died Dec. 14, 1996 at Crowell Memorial Home.

Vivian Rose Erna Gilliam Larsen was born in Blair to Curtis and Nettie Jackson Gilliam April 18, 1906. She attended and graduated from Blair High School with the Class of 1923.

After graduating she went to work for the Independent Telephone Company, then later for the Bell Co. and eventually for the E.C. Hunt Co.

She married Harry A. Larsen of the Fort Calhoun area on March 11, 1931.

In 1939, the Larsens moved to Creighton, Nebr. to manage and work for the Hunt Telephone Co. and later Great Plains Co. until they retired.

In 1994, they moved back to Blair where she entered Crowell Memorial Home.

She was active in the First Christian Church and later at the Creighton Grace Bible Church; P.E.O. and Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her son, Vance; her parents; three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ada Andersen of Blair; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ben Gilliam of Whittier, Calif.; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
