SARAH E. LARSON, 83

A memorial service will be held today, Thursday, December 28 at 11 a.m. at the West Omaha Colonial Chapel of Crosby Burket Swanson-Golden for Sarah E. Larson, 83 of Omaha who died December 24, 1989 at Immanuel Medical Center after a lengthy illness. A private family graveside service was held at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Sarah E. Larson was born November 4, 1906 at Nodaway, Iowa to Jessie and Sue Wright Lewis. She was residing at the Immanuel-Fontanelle Home at the time of her death.

She worked as a clerk for Woodman of the World Insurance Agency for many years before retiring. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil.

She is survived by a son, John of Van Nuys, California; a son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Rosemary, Kennard; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the giver’s choice of charities.
