Floyd D. Warlick, 72

Floyd D. Warlick, 72, of Rawlins, Wyo., died of a sudden illness on July 13, 2005, at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River, Wyo. Funeral services were July 18 at the Rostad Mortuary in Rawlins.

Floyd D. Warlick was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Murray, Neb., to Margaret and Irl Warlick. He attended schools in Murray and was a 1950 graduate of Nehawka High School.

He served his country in the Army with a tour of duty in Korea during the Korean War.

On June 10, 1958, he married Leila Klug Dickmeyer in Winfield, Kan.

He was most recently employed at the Sinclair Oil Refinery in Sinclair, where he retired in December 1995. Previously, he worked for Allied (General) Chemical in Green River. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, having fun, and being around his grandkids.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Rawlins.

He is survived y his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and JoAnn Dickmeyer of Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Dan Shurtleff of Green River; brothers and sisters-in-law, Byron and Donna Warlick of Syracuse; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Russ Meyer of Omaha; sisters-in-law,, Betty Brengleman of Waterloo, Jean Bradford of Blair, Doni Brainard of Omaha, Dianna and husband, Lynn Sievers of Fremont, Joyce Anderson of Kennard, and Cheryl Klug of Omaha; grandsons, five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leila; brothers, Virgil and Donald; mother and father-in-law, Fred and Arlene Klug, and brothers-in-law, Bob Anderson and Bob Brengleman.

Memorials given to the family will be donated in his name to local charities.
