Ernest Carl Warren, 90, of Tekamah, died early on Sunday morning, October 5, 1986, at Dodge County Memorial Hospital in Fremont, after a lengthy illness.

He was born on October 8, 1895 at Little Sioux, Iowa to Charles and Minnie (Marchel) Warren and farmed near Lyons, for many years.

He was married to Myrtle Iva Thomas on November 13, 1921, at Onawa, Iowa. They also lived in Oakland from 1961 until they moved to Tekamah in 1967.

Warren is survived by his wife, Myrtle I. Warren of Tekamah; two sons: Paul Warren of Lexington, and Delwin Warren of Tekamah; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Moore of Oakland; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Thelma, and a brother, Guy.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 7 at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Chapel in Tekamah with Rev. John A. Pierson officiating. Burial was in the Lyons Cemetery at Lyons.
