Mrs. Fred Waterman, died at the home of his parents near here at 5:30 Friday afternoon. He was 25 years of age and had been suffering for some time with lung trouble. He leaves hosts of friends in this vicinity and will be missed by all. He was born and raised here and after finishing school attended Fremont normal. Short services were held at the family residence here Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock and at the Lutheran church at noon. Rev. L. Grauenhorst, assisted by Rev. P. Bieger, of Yutan, officiating. He is survived by his parents and ten brothers and sisters. August, Ed, Arthur, Mary, Carrie and Sophie of this place, Will and George and Mrs. Westerbeck, of Foster, Neb., and Miss Martha, of Chicago, are the brothers and sisters, The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad hour of bereavement.

DEATH OF HENRY WATERMAN

Fontanelle, Jan. 1.—Henry Waterman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Waterman, died at the home of his parents near here yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock. The funeral will be held Tuesday. Short services will be held at the family residence at 11 a.m. and at the Fontanelle church at noon.

Mr. Waterman was a young man of sterling character and had a host of friends in this vicinity. He was born and raised in this community, and, after finishing school at Fontanelle, attended Fremont college for several terms. He had been suffering with lung trouble.
