The remains of Mrs. Frank Watson were brought here from Cedar Rapids, Ia., Monday for burial in the Blair cemetery that afternoon. Rev. W.H. Foreman officiating. Rose Wentworth was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wentworth and was born in this city July 15th, 1886, and was, therefore, not yet 33 years of age. Her girlhood days were spent here and on July 18th, 1903, she was united in marriage to Frank Watson in Kansas City, Mo. They lived at Kansas City for some time after their marriage, moving later to Cedar Rapids. She is survived by her husband and six children, Nellie, aged 14, James aged 12, Frank 10, Lucille 6, George 3 and a babe 3 ½ hours old at the time of the mother’s death. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hart, two sisters, Mrs. Cyrus Lewis, of this city, and Mrs. Albert Rigliv, of Cedar Rapids, and one brother, James, of Spirit Lake, Ia.

Frank Watson came from Cedar Rapids, Ia., last Monday with the body of his wife for burial in the Blair cemetery. Mr. Watson and his deceased wife were former residents of Blair, before their marriage. Mr. Watson’s father, John Watson, succeeded John Larkin as the partner of J.A. McKeen in the “Two Johns” marble works. Mrs. Frank Watson, the deceased, was Miss Rose Wentworth, daughter of Jud. Wentworth deceased, and was born in Blair, in 1886 and married to Frank Watson at Kansas City, Mo., in 1903. Six children ranging in age from 14 years down to a babe, born a few hours before the mother’s death, are left motherless. The mother of deceased lives at Cedar Rapids and will assist in caring for her daughter’s children. Two sisters, Mrs. Cyrus Lewis of this city and a married sister at Cedar Rapids and one brother, James, of Iowa, are surviving near relatives.

The remains were conveyed from the passenger station on the arrival of the train Monday and laid to rest in the Blair cemetery where the father was buried some years ago.
