Edward Watts, who was known by many in Blair as “Ed” died Wednesday, June 22, 1977, at Canley, Oregon, at the age of 59.

He worked for Robinson’s Café, King’s East Shop and attended the Blair Public Schools, as a young man in Blair. He served 4 ½ years in the Army in Germany during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse W. Watts, of Blair.

He is survived by three sons and two grandchildren in Oregon; his mother, Mrs. Mary E. (Watts) Green, Blair; two sisters, Mrs. Kay Jarman, Blair, Mrs. Dareathea Scott, Wolf Creek, Oregon; and one brother, Wilber Watts of Council Bluff, Iowa. Many nephews and nieces in the Blair area also survive him.
