Services for John R. Watts, 57 of Omaha who died February 8, 1995 at an Omaha hospital were Saturday, February 11 at Roeder Mortuary’s Chapel. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

John R. Watts was born September 11, 1937 in Omaha to John O. and Freda Pauline Hurd Watts.

He had over five years of college and was an engineer for Metropolitan Utilities District in Omaha. He and his wife had also run the Goodrich Dairy store in Blair for about two years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul.

He is survived by his wife, Pat and a son, Timothy J., both of Omaha; a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Wayne Schold, Gladstone, Missouri; a granddaughter, Anna; his mother-in-law, Bea Shannon and an aunt, Mildred Rogers.

Memorials may be directed to the Omaha Home for Boys or the Nebraska Iowa Kiwanis Foundation.
