Services for Maree A. Watts, 89 who died November 14, 1995 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 17 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Maree A. Watts was born November 20, 1906 at Greeley, Nebraska to Edward and Sarah Crowe Spivey. She attended elementary school in rural Burchard, Nebraska and graduated from Burchard High School.

She was a member of the Girls Basketball team that won the state tournament in 1925.

She married George D. Watts in 1925 and they remained in Burchard until 1942 when they moved to Kennard. They moved to Blair in 1991. She had lived at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home since 1995.

She worked at Campbell Soup Co. for 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and one infant son.

She is survived by her husband, George; two sons and daughters-in-law, Deuane and Beverly Watts, Aurora, Colorado and Donald and Gladys Watts, Blair; two daughter, Lillian Cole, Blair and Madelon Hansen, Kennard; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
