Memorial services were held at Friendly Valley Church in Santa Clarita, California, for Myrtle Jensen Yates, who died February 9, 1992, with private family graveside services and interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

She was born to John J. and Etta L. Jensen. She spent her childhood on the farm which her parents farmed west of Blair for over 60 years. She graduated from Blair High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Yates and her two brothers, Delmar and Clifford Jensen.

She is survived by her son, David Yates, Chicago, Illinois, and her three sisters, their husbands and families, Bertha Williams, Omaha; Helen “Judy” Lipke, Lombard, Illinois, and Bette Lynch, Valencia, California.
