JAMES LATHROP, 37

Services for James David Lathrop, age 37 of Blair, who died June 17, 1994 in Blair were Monday, June 20, at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial was held in the Blair Cemetery.

Jim David Lathrop was born August 1, 1956 in Tombstone, Arizona to Harold and Alma Lou Powell Lathrop. He grew up in the Morton, Illinois area and attended Hinsdale South High School in Darien, Illinois.

After High School, he attended West Point Military Academy in 1974-75. He then attended Illinois State University.

On August 18, 1984 he was married to LuAnne Youmans in Omaha.

He worked for 10 years for the Redland Insurance Company in Council Bluffs, Iowa as a department manager. He also worked for the Christoffersen Drywall Company and at the time of his death was employed as a representative for the American Bankers Insurance Company of Miami, Florida.

He is survived by his wife, LuAnne and two daughters, Allison and Erica of Blair; parents, Harold and Polly Lathrop of Clarendon Hills, Illinois and four brothers, Mike of Erie, Colorado; Greg of Manchester, Maryland; Jeff of Kenai, Alaska; and Tim of Chicago, Illinois.

Memorials may be directed to the First Lutheran Church in Blair.
