Rudy Emsick Died October 3rd

Rudolph William Emsick passed away in his sleep at his home on October 3rd. He was born at Snyder, Nebraska, on September 11, 1893, and was 64 years of age.

On April 7, 1952, Mr. Emsick was married to Mary West Broughton of Herman. Rev. Shaw of the Baptist Church in Fremont officiated. They moved to Blair and made their home here for the past 10 years, where Mr. Emsick has been in the trucking and hauling business.

He is survived by his wife and three children by a previous marriage. They are Rudolph William Robinson of Omaha, Mrs. Donna Meyers of Provo, Utah, and Mrs. Betty Meyers of Rupert, Idaho. There are ten grandchildren; four sisters, Adelade Rade of Lancaster, Ohio, Leona Anderson of Chicago, Ann Boyer of Summerset Mass., Marie Drocker of Minnesota; four brothers, Roy of Atlantic, Iowa, Alios of Atkinson, Nebraska, Floren of Bakersfield, California and Lawrence of Brunswick, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 6th, at the Campbell Mortuary. Rev. Gilbert Reiland will officiate and burial will be in Blair Cemetery.
