Word has recently been received of the death of Helen Frahm Young, 96, on Feb. 18, 1998, in New York. Burial was in New York.

Helen Eleanor Frahm was born on Aug. 1, 1901, at Fort Calhoun to August and Sophia Gutshow Frahm.

On Oct. 31, 1923, she married Clarence Young in Omaha.

She was survived by her daughter, Dorothy, of New York, and a son, Dennis of Omaha; brothers Chris Frahm of the Good Shepherd Home, Blair, Otto Frahm of North Platte and Edgar Frahm of Fort Calhoun; sister, Edna Weber of Marlin, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; brothers, Hans, Gus, Rudolph, Adolph and Fred and sister, Katie Rathjen.
