Blair Woman's Brother Is Buried

Funeral services were held Friday, February 18, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper for Alan H. Engdahl, 69, of Hooper who died February 15, 1983, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha after a lengthy illness.

The Rev. Curtis Benson conducted the services. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery.

Alan H. Engdahl was born May 29, 1913, in rural Oakland. He farmed in the Oakland area until September, 1981, when he moved to Hooper.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Oakland until moving to Hooper when he became a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. He formerly was school treasurer for School District 13 in Oakland.

He married Sonya Linden on January 25, 1939. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Williamsen of Oakland; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Maynard (Virgie) Anderson of Blair; and one brother, Dennis of Hooper.

Warne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
