Claude Yowell Died Thursday

Claude Yowell, 68 years of age, of Herman, died Thursday in Veterans Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Baptist Church in Herman with interment in Herman Cemetery. The Rev. Melvin Loftis officiated. The Herman American Legion was in charge of services at the cemetery.

Mr. Yowell is survived by his wife, Goldie; twin daughters, Mrs. Vernon Day (Jeanette) of Fremont and Mrs. Vern Kelly (Janet) of Orum; daughter, Mrs. Leon Snow of Le Seuer, Minn.; brother, Allen, of Herman; sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Larsen (Mary Ann) of Herman and Mrs. William Christensen of Blair; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Yowell was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion and World War I Barracks.
