Mildred E. Yowell, 78

Mildred E. Yowell, 78, of Loveland, Colo., died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Sterling House Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel in Loveland. The Rev. Mike Lundgren will officiate.

Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 7 p.m., and Saturday until service time.

Mildred E. Yowell was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Herman to Hurlie and Mabel (Follen) Clements.

She married Gerald E. Yowell on Aug. 21, 1940, in Glenwood, Iowa. They lived in Emerson, Iowa, until 1969, when they moved to Loveland.

Mrs. Yowell was a homemaker. She enjoyed collecting spoons, and she was a big Rockies and Bronco fan.

She most enjoyed being with her family and her many friends at Meadowlark Park.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Dennis Hudson of Fort Collins, Colo.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Ardyce Yowell of Wellington, Colo., and Mike and Betty Yowell of Loveland; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and three brothers.

Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home in Loveland is in charge of arrangements.
