Clell Herbert Zeigler, 91

Services for Clell Herbert Zeigler, 91, who died April 29, 1995 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, were Tuesday, May 2, at Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, Nebraska. Rev. Don Schauda officiated. Burial was in the Guide Rock Cemetery near Guide Rock, Nebraska.

Clell Herbert Zeigler was born December 24, 1903 to Herbert Sylvester and Flora Adell Davis Zeigler. He was raised on the family farm and was educated in Mt. Clare rural schools. He was baptized as a child in the Republican River.

He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad for many years on the Section Crew; he retired from that position after living in Superior, Lincoln and Broken Bow while working with the railroad. He moved to Blair to be near his daughter after his retirement.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Workers.

He married Wilma Pearl Mann October 5, 1993 in Mankato, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, George, Alva, Bert, Earl, Merle, Cecil and Wilber and three sisters, Mae, Ethel and Edna.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma of Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Bill Springer, of Blair; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Robin Zeigler of Grant, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Tim Springer, Tom Springer, Leigh Zeigler, Sarah Zeigler, three great-grandchildren, Quinn springer, Keaton Springer and Justin Springer; nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Casket bearers were Dwayne Bostelman, Randy Loughran, Jerry Rush, Gordon McKee, Tom Loughran and Elmer Rempe. Honorary pallbearers were Willard Springer and John Brandt.

Shirley Hunter was organist.
