Wilma Zeigler, 82

Wilma P. Zeigler, 82, of Guide Rock, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at the Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Services were Monday, March 1, at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior with Rev. Don Schauda officiating.

Organ solos were performed by Carlita Price.

Pallbearers were Alva Pomplin, Dwayne Bostelman, Elmer Rempe, Ron Thompson, Randy Loughran, and Larry Hickenbottom. Honorary pallbearers was Gordon McKee.

Burial was in the Guide Rock Cemetery.

Wilma Pearl Zeigler was born on Sept. 20, 1916, at Guide Rock to James Edward and Lillie Florence (Willet) Mann.

She attended school in Guide Rock.

On Oct. 5, 1933, in Mankato, Kans., she married Clell Herbert Zeigler. They had two children, Janet Jo and Terry.

She was baptized April 25, 1943, at the First Methodist Church in Superior.

During her married life, while her husband worked for the railroad, she lived in Superior, Lincoln, Broken Bow, and Blair, where they settled after retirement.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow, and the Ladies Aid and Bible Study Group, and was attending the Crowell Methodist Church while living in Blair.

She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much, spending as much time as she could with them.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet Jo and Bill Springer of Blair; son and daughter-in-law Terry and Robin Zeigler of Grant; two sisters, Mary Steward, of Hastings, and Evelyn Thompson of McCook; four grandchildren, Tim and Tom Springer, Leigh and Sarah Zeigler and four great-grandchildren, Quinn, Keaton, Megan and Justin Springer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clell; and two brothers, Harland and James.

Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior was in charge of arrangements.
