Services for Ralph G. Zimmerman, Sr., 81 of Marshfield, Mo., and formerly of Blair, who died Thurs., Oct. 17, 1996, at St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Mo., were Sun., Oct. 20, at Fraker Funeral Home in Marshfield. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tues., Oct. 22, in the Kennard City Cemetery at Kennard, Neb.

Ralph G. Zimmerman was a long-time cattle dealer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Hans and Maude Zimmerman**; two brothers, George and Glenn Zimmerman; a son, Larry Zimmerman; and a daughter, Voni McIlrath.

Survivors include two sons, James M. Zimmerman, Thornton, Colo. And Ralph Zimmerman, Jr., Marshfield; two daughters, Mickey Brummer, Valley, Neb., and Becky Vaile, Broomfield, Colo.; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Note: Hans & Maude were Ralph's grandparents. His father was Hans J. Zimmerman and his mother was Louisa W Zimmerman (Gosch). His father died in the flu epidemic in 1918. His mother died in a car accident when Ralph was 12 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George and Glenn Zimmerman; a son, Larry Zimmerman, and a daughter, Voni McIlrath.

Survivors include two sons, James M. Zimmerman, Thornton, Colo and Ralph Zimmerman Jr, Marshfield; two daughters, Mickey Brummer, Valley, NB and Becky Vaile, Broomfield, Colo; 6 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
