Catherine A. Zulfer, 68, of Fort Calhoun, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in Blair.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 61st and Western Streets, in Omaha. A private family interment will follow.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 18 at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 8 p.m.

Catherine A. Zulfer was born May 9, 1940, in Omaha.

On March 8, 1958, she married Kenneth C. Zulfer in Omaha.

Mrs. Zulfer had lived in the Fort Calhoun area since 1967.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Don Knight of Fort Calhoun, and Cindy and Mark Alvord of Bellevue; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny, in December 1997; and a daughter, Patty Zulfer.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Rescue Squad.
