DORA E. WRICH, 95

Dora E. Wrich, 95, of Blair, died Saturday, March 10, 2002, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the German Cemetery, rural Bennington. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dora E. Wrich was born Sept. 6, 1906, in Washington County to George and Sophie (Beckman) Wiese.

She was a hardworking farm wife while raising her children. Later, they moved to Kennard, where they had a cream station for a few years. Mrs. Wrich also worked at Meade in the defense plant, and then in the laundry department of University Hospital in Omaha. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Wrich worked for 17 years in Fremont at the Campbell Soup Company.

Her hobbies included raising a garden with lots of strawberries and tomatoes. She had resided at Crowell Memorial Home since 1997.

Mrs. Wrich is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, LeuEtta and Bill Wulbern of Kennard; sons and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Delores Wrich of Kennard, and Larry Wrich of Fremont; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto; son, Alvin; two sisters and six brothers.

Memorials are suggested to the German Cemetery.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
