Mrs. Fred Weaver Buried In Herman

Mrs. Fred Weaver (Bessie) of Herman died Friday, January 10th at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital where she had been confined for over seven weeks.

Bessie Ellis was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Ellis in Tekamah on December 23, 1895, and was 73 years of age. She and Mr. Fred Weaver had been married 52 years and had lived in Herman the past 25 years.

She is survived by her husband Fred, and a daughter Mrs. Wm. E. Walker (Marjorie) and five grandchildren of Des Moines, Iowa.

Funeral services were at the Hamel and Peck Mortuary at Tekamah on Sunday, January 12th at 2 p.m. The Rev. Zack Kleinsasser of Herman officiated. Burial was in the Herman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Boyd Lewis, Gordon Baker, Francis Tobin, Tom McNear, Eugene Johnson and Donald E. Johnson.
