Services For Joseph Weber December 29

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 29 at Herman Methodist Church for Joseph Weber.

Rev. William Whittaker officiated at the 2 p.m. rites.

Joseph B. Weber was born January 6, 1893, at Cedar Bluffs, Nebr., the son of John G. and Mary Christine Petersen Weber.

At an early age he moved with his parents to a farm near Herman. Most of his life was spent in farming and livestock feeding in the Herman and Tekamah vicinity.

In June of 1976 he moved to Logan Valley Manor at Lyons where he resided until he was hospitalized at Oakland on December 6.

He is survived by 3 brothers, Pete of New London, Wis., Julius and Theodore of Herman, and three sisters, Mrs. Aaron Barker (Marguerite) and Mrs. Clyde Stork (Mary) both of Tekamah, and Mrs. Byron Bartling (Mattie) of Criag.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers Chris, John, Emil and Lars, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Gehrt.

Pallbearers were Jack Eriksen, Marvin Cherry, George Weber, Leonard Peterson, Don Anderson and William Hunt, Jr.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were John Reyzlik, John Skinner, Jim Skinner, Alfred Eriksen, Hans Christensen and Victor Enger.

Burial was in Herman Cemetery.
