Julius (Shine) Weber, 90

Services were Monday, December 3, 1990, at Herman Methodist Church for Julius (Shine) Weber, 90, who died November 30, 1990, in Blair. Rev. Ronald W. Miers officiated.

Julius Weber was born January 31, 1900 in Herman to John and Mary Petersen Weber. He attended a country school and farmed in Washington and Burt Counties. He lived in the Herman area most of his life.

Baseball was his hobby and he had pitched for a minor league team in Nickerson. He and his brothers had a team, the Weber Ramblers. Hunting and fishing were his other pastimes.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; brothers Chris, John, Joe, Pete, Lars and Emil and sisters Emma and Mary.

Survivors include sisters, (Mrs. Bryon) Mattie Bartling and (Mrs. Aaron) Marguerite Barker, both of Tekamah; a brother Theodore Weber of Herman and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Roger Barker, George Weber, Robert Petersen, John Eriksen, Bruce Skinner and Richard Reyzlick.

Clare Cowing was organist.

Burial was in the Herman Cemetery.
