Funeral For Lars Weber Was Held Thursday

Funeral services were held for Lars Weber Thursday afternoon at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair. Mr. Weber, a life long resident of Burt County, was 73 years of age.

He was born at Herman February 17, 1897 and had been a farmer all of his life. For the past 13 years he had lived on a farm near Tekamah.

He was married to the former Emma Koenig March 3, 1925 and she survives his death. Other survivors are two children, a daughter, Mrs. Harold Gustafson, of Carter Lake, Iowa, and a son, Lars, Jr., of San Jose, California. There are six grandchildren.

Five brothers survive. They are Joe W. Weber and Emil Weber, of Tekamah, Pete Weber of New London, Wisconsin and Julius and Theodore Weber of Herman.

There are four sisters. They are: Mrs. Emma Gehrt, of Herman, Mrs. Clyde Stork (Mary) of Tekamah; Mrs. Byron Bartling (Mattie) of Craig and Mrs. Aaron Barker (Margaret) of Tekamah.

Burial, following the services Thursday, was made in the Herman Cemetery. The pallbearers were Lloyd Husk, Louis McNear, Jack Eriksen, Erwin Clements, Bernard Clements and Chester Watkins.
