MARIE F. LAUSEN DIED SATURDAY AT CROWELL HOME

Marie F. Lausen, a resident of Crowell Memorial Home died at the Home last Saturday, June 1st. She was 76 years of age.

Mrs. Lausen was the wife of Laurence Lausen, long-time member of the Blair Parks Department maintenance crew who lives at 1927 Lincoln Street.

Mrs. Lausen was born at Logan, Iowa April 8, 1898. She is survived by her husband, Laurence and by two sons, Marvin Lausen of Council Bluffs and Duane Lausen of Edmond, Oklahoma. A sister, Charlotte Hansen, resides in Blair.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church Monday afternoon with the service conducted by the Rev. Robert Albers. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary was made in the Grange Cemetery, Pottawattomie County, Iowa.

Pallbearers were Ed Masske, Paul Kastrup, Glenn Wohlers, Fred Iverson, Ralph Smith and Paul Hansen.
