CHRIS E. LAUTRUP RITES LAST SAT.

Cris (sp) Ever Lautrup of Chicago, but for a number of years a resident of Kennard was buried in Kennard. The funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home last Friday with Rev. Sydney L. McCaig officiating.

Deceased was born in Denmark, Dec. 28, 1879 and when two years of age came to America. The family lived for two years in Corley, Iowa. On May 17, 1902 he was married to Mary Christensen at Harlan, Iowa. In 1903, they moved to Kennard.

Four sons and six daughters survive him. Howard and Mrs. Viola Vruegdenhil live in Omaha; Mrs. Luella Hanson in Irwin, Ia.; Mrs. Bertha Jorgensen, Kimbalton, Iowa; Henry, Harold, Edward and Mrs. Ella Paulsen of Kennard; Mrs. Norma Misfeldt of Arlington and Mrs. Leona Sorensen of Blair, in addition to 25 grandchildren. He also has a sister, Mrs. Hans Larsen of Omaha.
