Walter W. Weed Buried At Kennard Tuesday, Sept. 9

Walter W. Weed, a native of the Kennard vicinity, was buried in the Kennard Cemetery Tuesday afternoon of this week. Mr. Weed was 92 years of age. He had been living at 4230 Parker Street, in Omaha.

He grew up in Kennard and was a graduate of the Kennard High School.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Emily Clark, of Fallon, Nevada, a grandson, Richard Harter and a great grandson, Matthew Harter, both of Santa Barbara, California. A sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Meservey, lives at St. Paul, Minnesota.

Funeral services were held at Northwest Hills United Church of Christ and burial was made at Kennard. Graveside services were conducted by the John S. Bowen, Masonic Lodge of Kennard, Robert Anderson, Worthy Master.

The Kremer Funeral Home of Omaha was in charge.

Note: Walter is buried in Blk 7 Lot 1 Sp 4 in the Kennard Cemetery.
